Feb, 2016 - Windjammer Promotes Daniel Lee and Ryan Pertz to Vice President
Windjammer Capital Investors is pleased to announce the promotions of Daniel Lee and Ryan Pertz to Vice President. Daniel is in Windjammer's Waltham, MA office and Ryan is located in Windjammer's Newport Beach office.
Daniel joined Windjammer in 2010 from Summer Street Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm based in Buffalo, New York, where he was an analyst involved in buyout and growth equity transactions and provided support in the management of portfolio companies. Prior to Summer Street, Daniel was an investment banking analyst at Citigroup Markets and Banking in New York, where he focused on executing M&A and debt transactions in the power/utilities industry sector. Daniel currently serves on the boards of Heritage Food Service Group and Global Claims Services. He was formerly on the board of Protective Industries ("Caplugs"). Daniel received his BA from Columbia University.
Ryan joined Windjammer in 2013 and brings both private equity and investment banking experience. Previously, he was an associate at HM Capital (fka Hicks Muse Tate & Furst), a Dallas-based private equity firm, and an investment banking analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at J.P. Morgan in New York City. Ryan currently serves on the boards of Flinn Scientific and Infinite RF, and acts as an observer to the board of JWC Environmental. He previously acted as an observer to the board of BBB Industries. Ryan received his BS in engineering from Duke University and his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Both Daniel and Ryan continue to play an integral role in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, performing due diligence, participating in the structuring, negotiating and closing of transactions, and assisting in the management of portfolio companies.
