Dec, 2015 - Windjammer Expands Its Team with the Additions of Two Operating Directors
Helen Ruth and Brandon Edlefsen have joined Windjammer as Operating Directors.
Prior to joining Windjammer, Helen was a Vice President and General Manager at Emerson Process Management with responsibility for the Liquid Analytical and Combustion businesses at Rosemount Analytical. During her eight year career with Emerson, Helen also held various positions in Strategic Planning, Marketing, Product Management and Sales in locations across the United States and Asia. Helen holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
Prior to joining Windjammer, Brandon was the General Manager of Sonix, a subsidiary within Danaher’s Industrial Technologies platform. During his eight year career at Danaher, Brandon also held positions in Business Unit Management, Business Development, and Product Development. Prior to Danaher, Brandon served five years in the United States Army. Brandon led infantry and logistics platoons in the 75th Ranger Regiment and 82nd Airborne Division. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and master’s degrees in Business Administration and Engineering Management from Northwestern University.
Helen and Brandon will work closely with Windjammer’s portfolio company management to drive organic revenue growth through a broad range of market and customer facing initiatives, as well as performance and operational enhancement projects. Both will also be involved in the evaluation of new investment opportunities.
These additions to our team, reinforces Windjammer’s commitment to maximize the value of its portfolio investments and drive above-market investment returns for investors, in collaboration with portfolio company management.
Helen and Brandon are both based in Windjammer’s Waltham, MA office.
