May, 2009 - Windjammer Promotes John Donahue


Windjammer Capital Investors is pleased to announce the promotion of John Donahue to Principal. John is located in Windjammer's Waltham, Massachusetts office.

Most recently, John, along with Greg Bondick, Principal, played key roles throughout the entire investment process in Windjammer's closing of the S.T. Specialty Foods transaction. Windjammer provided the equity and the subordinated debt to complete the transaction with S.T. Specialty Foods, the leading North American manufacturer of private label and store branded, macaroni and cheese and other dry shelf-stable dinners and side dishes.

Prior to joining Windjammer in 2001, John worked at Robertson Stephens, Inc. and in the Leveraged Finance Group at BankBoston. He is a graduate of Harvard University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. John currently serves on the board of Schutt Sports Group, Rotex Global and S.T. Specialty Foods and is a board observer of McKenzie Sports Products.

Windjammer Capital Investors, with offices in Newport Beach, California and Waltham, Massachusetts, is a national private investment firm that makes control and non-control investments in leading middle market businesses in partnership with management.
