Windjammer seeks control equity investments in partnership with proven management teams. To streamline the closing process and simplify a company's capital structure, we typically invest all of the subordinated debt and equity capital required to close a control equity transaction. We have a particular interest in opportunities that arise from management-led buyouts of family-owned businesses or divisions of larger companies.

Windjammer is prepared to invest in and support the long-term development of the underlying business. We apply our resources, experience, and contacts in the following areas:

Acquisitions: Through our contacts with industry executives and investment banking intermediaries, we are often able to introduce strategic add-on acquisition opportunities to our portfolio companies. We will support our portfolio companies strategic acquisitions with additional resources and capital.

Internal Growth: We support internal growth initiatives including facility expansions, workflow redesign, improved customer service initiatives, and upgrading management information systems by providing additional resources and capital.

Financing: With decades of experience in the capital markets, we work with various financial institutions to ensure that each portfolio company has a flexible and optimal capital structure.

Contacts: When appropriate, Windjammer will recruit seasoned industry executives to provide additional support at the board level.

Strategic Planning: We provide guidance and feedback on key strategic issues and opportunities facing each company.

"Windjammer brings a number of valuable attributes to the table for a management team and their business. They are sophisticated investors who take the time to understand the market dynamics we are competing in. There is an appetite to invest in the right opportunity. An empowered management team knows that their partners operate with the highest level of integrity, always "doing the right thing."
